Barb worked with the Appleton Public Library on a list of books our club will donate in Richard Schoenbohm’s memory. The books are on environmental and adoption topics. Both areas of special interest to Richard. Barb will check out and bring the books to a future meeting when they are acquired. The cost for the books is $79 and the club will donate the entire amount.
The club discussed meeting in person at Touchmark in March since the Covid numbers are looking better. Our guest, Eric Winkel, said that his physician group is meeting in person now but also allowing members to participate online. We will tentatively plan to have an in-person meeting in March and see how the pandemic is behaving closer to the 17th.
Barb pointed out that Reed Taylor's paper, Learning About Race: A Personal Journey, was featured on the cover of the Winter 2022 issue of the Torch magazine. Reed is Peter Thiel’s brother in law and a former member of our club.
The business meeting ended at 6:30 PM.

PRESENTATION

Bill lead a roundtable discussion of attendees answering the question: If you could have dinner with anyone (living or dead) who would it be?

After the discussion Scott gave a short presentation on the process his family uses to make maple syrup.

Meeting adjourned at 7:14 PM.
